Apple’s largest and most powerful tablet, the iPad Pro could be getting a redesign, but not anytime soon. Ming-chi Kuo, a reliable “leaker” from China who we have reported about before, is already looking into the next few years of Apple’s tablets. Next year Kuo thinks there won’t be too much action for the tablet line, and we agree because Apple will be focused on their 10th year anniversary iPhone. According to a statement reported by know your mobile from Kuo (originally reported by AppleInsider) 3 models will be released, a new 10.5-inch model will be sneaking in between the 9.7 and 10.9-inch models. Kuo also rumors that the 9.7-inch model will become a “budget” type model and keep the older A9X chip while the other models will be upgrades to the A10X.
2018 will be a different story for the iPad Pro, a complete redesign is expected. Know your mobile reports on a rumored “flexible AMOLED display” that would change the design completely. 2018 will also have the same three models and the 9.7 will continue as a “budget” model, although we are sure the price won’t look budget.
So it looks like Apple’s tablets aren’t going anywhere, but what about the iPad Air’s? What do you think Apple is going to do with its Air line? Let us know in the comments below.
