Microsoft’s Surface Book was by no far a sluggish machine. It had a great design with solid specs to back it up. And today at Microsoft’s event, the Surface book just got even more powerful.
Microsoft is saying that the updated version of the Surface Book will have twice the graphics performance with an Intel Core i7 processor and a custom Nvidia GeForce GTX 965M 2GB chip. Oh, and there is also a 30% bigger battery on board, too.
And because of the bigger battery, Microsoft is saying that the updated device will offer up to 16 hours of use on a single charge. Also, there are SSD configurations from 256GB up to 1TB as well as 8GB and 16GB of RAM available.
The updated Surface Book will be more expensive than the current model, starting at $2,399 and goes all the way up to $3,299 depending on your choice of specifications. US-based consumers can purchase the new Surface Book now, and it is expected to ship on November 10th.
