Every day, we’re seeing companies introduce lots and lots of new PCs, but they all seem to be offering the same things. Now, Samsung’s made a smart move by introducing its all-new ArtPC Pulse cylindrical PC/speaker. Yep, you got that right – it’s a PC and a speaker at the same time. For a price tag of $1,199.99, you’ll be able to preorder the device before the official release on the 28th of October. With a meaty cost for a PC like that, you will definitely be expecting some sublime things in return, so Samsung has decided to pack in a sixth-generation Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, a 256GB solid state drive, as well as an AMD Radeon RX 460 graphics card. Some people might find these specs a little under par, but considering that expensive price tag, they might just be.
The PC also features a Harmon Kardon speaker. As a matter of fact, HP took to the stage a few weeks ago and unveiled their own PC/speaker, but the price tag was basically half of what Samsung is charging. Oh, and let’s not forget about Apple’s £2,499 Mac Pro which is somewhat designed similar to a PC/speaker, except its more of a computer.
