The Galaxy S7 was one of the best phones of 2016, there were no complaints about it. It came with a 3600mAh battery, 12MP camera, wireless charging, Samsung Pay, fast charge and a nice curved display. So how can Samsung make a phone this good even better?
Latest rumors tell us that there will be two models of the upcoming S8, just like the S7 and S7 Edge. So far we know they are working hard to increase the display size to where 90% of the front body is the screen. Which means the fingerprint scanner will be embedded in the screen. There is also a chance that Samsung will have a dedicated AI assistant, kind of like Siri or Google Assist, but we hope they leave the option open so the user can set the button to their preference shortcut. They will also use M8 generation OLED material that can save up to 30% battery life with its efficiency. And lastly, we might see Samsung using 3coil wireless charging capability for a faster wireless charging experience, like up to two hours faster. I personally cannot wait to see that!
Samsung has to improve a lot of things to make up for the discontinuation of the Note 7, but will this be enough? Let us know what you think below.
