Sharing ideas and collaboration with colleagues have been easy for the past years as the introduction of messaging apps for businesses has made it easy for workers and colleagues to deliberate on ideas asynchronously.
Tech giant company, Microsoft has launched a messaging system called ‘’Microsoft Teams’’ as part of office 365. Microsoft believes that this new messaging service will boost collaboration and communication among workers or colleagues in order to improve their work atmosphere.
The new service was announced at an event in New York City, on Wednesday where they officially launched its Microsoft Teams.
The aims of the Microsoft Teams is to serve as a one-stop-shop for better productivity and businesses irrespective of the type of project, offering chat, notes and planning tools to help shape and boost productivity inside out the office.
Also, colleagues can include voice and video meeting since Skype video conferencing has been included in Microsoft Teams.
“Microsoft Teams is an entirely new experience that brings together people, conversations and content — along with the tools that teams need — so they can easily collaborate to achieve more,” – Microsoft.
Microsoft Teams is available in a customer preview and will become generally available in the first quarter of 2017.
