Earlier today we saw “Sphero’s Force Band that allows you to control your home through arm gestures“. It was about the fact that you could use a Force Band to control things in your home, just like a Star Wars Jedi. So let’s continue on the Star Wars theme. This time, a Japanese mobile carrier called SoftBank has created a Star Wars phone.
The smartphones are produced for the new Star Wars movie, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The device is made by Sharp, and you can choose between a Light Side and a Dark Side model. These decent specs would fit perfectly for a mid-range phone.
Take a look:
- 5.3-inch 1080p display
- Snapdragon 820
- 3GB RAM
- 3000 mAh battery
- 32GB of Storage
- microSD card slot
- 22.6 MP rear camera
- Android Marshmallow
You will also get some cool Star Wars stuff, such as Star Wars ringtones and emojis. You’ll also get some Star Wars live wallpapers, a Star Wars Android 6.0 skin and a Star Wars Movie Player app. The game Star Wars: Force Collection will also come preloaded, and you will get access to a gold pack.
The preorders start today, but the smartphone will officially go on sale starting December 2nd. But it will be exclusive to Japan, at least in the beginning. If you live in Japan, and are a huge Star Wars fan, this can be a very reasonable smartphone. Why not combine it with Sphero’s Force Band, and become a real Jedi knight?
