Some time ago the developer of Pokemon Go, Niantic, said they might make a Pokémon Go app for the Apple Watch. When no one confirmed it, many people started to think that Niantic decided not to, until now. Niantic posted a tweet saying that Pokemon Go for the apple watch is coming soon!
Pokémon Go for Apple Watch is coming soon. Stay tuned.

John Hanke, the CEO of Niantic, said that it will come in the end of 2016. It is the end of 2016 now, so it’s unclear if Niantic will manage to release the app before 2017.
The app for the Apple Watch will probably work similar to the Pokémon Go Plus wearable. You will get a notification when a Pokémon is nearby. This means that you won’t have to constantly pull your phone out of your pocket to check what’s nearby. The app is also rumoured to allow you to collect new gear at PokéStops and hatch eggs.
Niantic might develop an app for Android Wear as well because that might help them to get some more users. Are you an Apple watch user that plays Pokemon Go? Are you interested in this new app?Do you hope it will come for Android Wear? Don’t forget to share your thoughts!
9to5Mac has said that Niantic aren’t going to release the Pokémon Go app for the Apple Watch before 2017. According to some reports, Niantic is building their own wearable. They think that the wearable is more important than the app, so they have decided to give it a higher priority above the application.
A wearable called Nex Evolution has been trying to raise some money in a campaign, and the upcoming Niantic wearable looks very similar to it, so that may mean that Niantic Labs and Nex have teamed up to make a wearable. The upcoming product will probably come in January.
