With the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) less than a week away, companies are beginning to preview what they will launch during the show. The latest comes from Asus, which is teasing that they’ll launch a new smartphone with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 processor.

The phone will launch on January 4th, at Asus’s “Zennovation” event. In addition to the new processor, the phone might also have a dual-camera setup. As with most teasers, there is not a lot of other information available, but with the inclusion of the new Snapdragon processor and a dual-camera setup, it seems as though Asus’s latest smartphone won’t be a slouch.

As mentioned above, we’ll get more information about the phone, and other Asus related announcements on January 4th. Stay tuned to TechDependent as we will be covering CES 2017 in great detail. To read all of our coverage so far, click here.
