Almost all tech in the future will probably be wireless. Cars, phones, headphones, computers etc. Dell has now built a hybrid laptop that can be charged wirelessly, and it’s called the Latitude 7285. But you will, of course, need one of Dell’s wireless charging pads to use this feature. The charging pad also supports the latest Qi wireless charging technology, which means faster charging.
This laptop is 2-in-1 and consists of a tablet and an exchangeable keyboard. You will be able to get three different keyboards for your Latitude 7285, but just one supports wireless charging. If you have the wireless charging keyboard on, you’ll just need to place the laptop on the charging pad and it will start charging. The other two keyboards are a slimmer travel keyboard and a productivity keyboard. The second of them adds four hours of extra battery time. The hybrid laptop will be able to get 6 hours of battery, but it will get 10 hours if you use the productivity keyboard.
Dell hasn’t announced the price of this device yet, but it’s expected to come in the end of May this year. What do you think of this laptop? Do you think more companies will make wireless charging computers? Let us know what you think by leaving a comment below!
