In October last year, some photos of an HTC smartwatch with the codename Halfbeak were leaked. Now some new photos of the watch have been leaked, and once again it’s from the Chinese website Weibo.
As we could see in the old photos, the display is circular with a resolution of 360×360. On the back, you can find a heart rate sensor, as well as a HTC and an Under Armour logo. This means that the watch probably will be fitness inspired. Luckily, this watch doesn’t have the “flat tire” like on the Moto 360. The watch on the pictures is running Android Wear 1.3, but it will probably get Wear 2.0 because Google will release it in February this year.
HTC has not confirmed that they will release a smartwatch, so we can’t know if this is true or not. However, the image looks trustworthy, so HTC may announce it at Mobile World Congress next month. What do you think of these pictures? Do you think a collaboration between HTC and UA would result in a great watch? Leave your thoughts below!
