If you have ever been to a birthday party, or any event, and had several photos that you want to post but you don’t want to flood your friend’s timeline, then this update is for you. As Android Central reports, this feature is called “gallery” and allows up to 10 photos (or videos) to be shared as just one post.
An example photo is placed below, you can see that while viewing your timeline you will be able to tell if a post includes a gallery because you can swipe through the different photos. You can also see the small blue dots at the bottom of the photo representing which photo you are on in the gallery. Swiping through the gallery is actually enjoyable and fun to see more than one post from a location or event.
I’m sure you have a few questions like… When you like the post can you like individual photos or do you like all of them? You still can only like the whole post not the individual photos in the gallery, the same goes for commenting. Isn’t this pretty much just like “Stories” but an actual post? Well… that is for you to think about.
This update is available for you now whether you have Android or iOS, How many people will make use of the update is something only time will tell.
Will you enjoy this update? Do you have friends that always flood your timeline? Let us know in the comments below and tweet us @techdependent.
