The LG G6 is not released yet, but many leaked images have shown us that the G6 will rock a dual lens camera on the back. LG has now confirmed that those leaks and rumors are true in a blog post from earlier today. One of the two 13MP cameras on the back will be able to capture extra wide photos in 125 degrees, while the front-facing camera can shoot in 100 degrees.
We have seen this dual camera technology in LG’s devices before, such as the G5 and V20. The LG G6 is also rumored to be taller than most handsets on the market, so the wide-angle pictures will fit well on the screen if you flip it horizontally. If you love to take pictures of food the G6 might have a good camera for you because it’s confirmed to improve color saturation in the food mode. Another interesting feature will split your screen into two halves and one will show your recent image while the other one will let you take a new image.
LG will unveil their upcoming phone on February 26th at the MWC 2017 event, and LG might confirm some more specs before that. How important is the camera for you while looking for a new smartphone? Let us know in the comments below!
