The original Huawei Watch might have been released in September 2016, but it’s still one of the most popular Android Wear smartwatches on the market. The specs are good and the design is very normal, if you look at the smartwatch from a distance you might think it’s a regular watch. An article that was posted on Ausdroid claims that the Huawei Watch will be able to use Android Pay in the upcoming Android Wear 2.0 update, which would be another reason to buy it.
Huawei has confirmed that their smartwatch features an NFC chip and that they are currently testing the Android Pay feature on the device.
None of this information has been confirmed by Google themselves, so we need to take this information with a grain of salt. Do you have the first version of the Huawei Watch? Do you use Android Pay? Let us know in the comments down below and make sure to connect with us on social media!
