You might already have heard about “Sony’s Concept for Android” program, but if not, you will get an explanation about it now. The program, which had started in 2015, is an alternative of Sony’s ROM that will give you faster updates and enable you to experience a close to stock Android. Unfortunately, Sony has now decided to end this program for Xperia X.

According to Sony’s InTouch community, which has been a platform for people who are using the Concept program can contact Sony, the last update for the Xperia X will come in May this year. We’re not sure what the final update will bring, but it might be a stable Android 7.1.2 version.

The XZ Premium might get a program that is similar to “Sony’s Concept for Android” if we shall trust the post. The XZ Premium is rumored to be released in June this year, so that might be when we’ll get to know if it will get a concept program or not.
