The Wireless Power Consortium is a website that shows all consumer devices that are using the Qi wireless charging technology. Some days ago, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active appeared on the website before it’s even released.
This is most likely a mistake since Samsung probably don’t want the public to see their upcoming device before they’ve announced it. However, WPC doesn’t reveal that much about the S7 Active’s successor. The page revealed that the build number of the handset is “SM-G892A”. An image of the S8 Active was also attached to the page, which is very interesting. It doesn’t have any physical buttons on the front, and the bezels are small. Actually, it’s pretty similar to the LG G6. Obviously, this device must come with Qi wireless charging since it can be found on Wireless Power Consortium.
No specs or picture on the back and side could be found on WPC’s site, so we need to wait for that. Do you think that the S8 Active will be a good phone? Leave your comments below and don’t forget to visit us for the latest technology news!
