Samsung is usually launching a more durable version of their flagships, like the S7 Active that came last year. So far, Samsung hasn’t said anything about a Galaxy S8 Active, but a recent rumor suggests that the Korean company might launch it soon.
The rumors started when a User Agent Profile saw a Twitter post by Roland Quandt. The image in the post showed a chart showing off some information about an unknown device with the model number “SM-G892A”. Then SamMobile said that the unknown phone is the AT&T exclusive variant of the Galaxy S8 Active.
The S8 Active might come with the same specs as the S8, but it’s not sure. If so, the power might come from either an Exynos 8895 or Snapdragon 835 chipset and a 3,000mAh battery. It is also possible that we’ll find a 12MP camera on the rear as well as an 8MP shooter on the front. Are you interested in getting the Active version of the Galaxy S8?
