We’ve been hearing a lot of rumors about the upcoming iPhone 7s, 7s Plus, and iPhone 8 lately. The iPhone 8 will have some more features than the 7s siblings, including a 5.8-inch OLED display covering almost the whole front of the device. The display is also rumored to be bigger than the display on the iPhone 7 despite a similar-sized body, which is possible because of the almost non-existing bezels.
One of the reasons why we can be pretty sure about this is a picture from the Chinese website Weibo. The picture shows us three different molds of, what’s said to be, the upcoming iPhones. The biggest one is obviously the 7s Plus, the 8 in the middle, and the 7s on the right. These molds are actually for phone cases and other iPhone-related accessories, so they don’t show the exact size of the phones because cases need have some extra thickness for protection.
The iPhone 8 mold shows us that there will be a vertical dual-lens camera, just like other rumors has suggested earlier. The iPhone 7s and 7s Plus should come with a 4.7-inch respectively a 5.5-inch display like the 7 and 7 Plus did if everything goes as usual.
As we can see if we look on the molds, the iPhone 8’s body will just be a tiny bit bigger while the display is over one inch bigger, in fact, 4.7-inches compared to 5.8-inches. This isn’t surprising at all since a big trend in the smartphone world is to have small bezels. However, we need to wait for Apple to release their smartphones before we can be completely sure.
