Microsoft has already said that they’ll not release a Surface Pro 5 at the upcoming event in Shanghai. Evan Blass, aka @evleaks on Twitter, wrote an article on VentureBeat where he’s suggesting that a new Surface Pro will come instead.
The design of the Pro is actually similar to the Pro 4 from 2015. However, Blass claims that the Pro will just be a slight upgrade from the Pro 4 with better specifications. Microsoft might put Intel’s seventh generation chips in their upcoming device, as well as some other upgraded hardware. You will also be able to choose between multiple different colors on your keyboard and touch-pen, according to VentureBeat.
Evan Blass has predicted many specs, design and release dates for many different devices and many people rank him as a reliable source, but we can’t still be 100% sure about this. So you need to keep in mind that the Surface Pro might look different from what you’ve seen in this article. Blass will also tease some more information on Monday about this device, before Microsoft announces it at the event on May 23.
