It took a while, but Google finally released Google Home for people in Canada. Google Home can be pre-ordered from Google Store or BestBuy for 179 CAD. Buying it from BestBuy is the better deal though, they will cut $50 off the price of Phillips Hue lights and include a free Chromecast as well if purchased all together. The Home will include both English and French languages for the users.

Google Home can assist with any question after hearing the user say “Ok Google.” It can assist with any number of questions, set alarms, take notes or simply play the music you like. Home does have to be paired via bluetooth to your smartphone to achieve most of its capabilities. If you do not want to pre-order it, it will be available for purchase in many other retail stores, including Was-Mart, Bell, Indigo, Staples, Telus, Visions, The Source, Rogers, London Drugs and BestBuy.

Will you pre-order Google Home? Let us know in the comments below, we’d love to hear your answers.
