The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ are a couple of awesome flagship smartphones, but they have some flaws as well. For an example, the devices are very fragile because of the Infinity display and the glass back. Luckily, the more rugged S8 Active is on the way if we should trust this Reddit post.
The main difference between Galaxy handsets and the more rugged devices is that the Active-lineup basically is a smartphone with a built-on case, which looks pretty similar to Otterbox cases. The leaked image of, what’s said to be the S7 Active’s successor, reveals that it won’t feature a curved display since a flat one is more durable. It will also feature a 4,000mAh battery, compared to the S8’s 3,000mAh and the S8+’s 3,500mAh. That means that the S8 Active will be slightly thicker than the S8.
Documents on Samsung’s website have already mentioned the S8 Active, so the release is probably not too far away. What do you think about the Galaxy S8 Active? Leave your thoughts in the comment section!
