The Xiaomi Mi MIX is famous for its very futuristic design with very thin bezels. A couple of days ago, renders of the Mi MIX 2 leaked and the images show that it might be almost bezel-less. The only bezel we can see on this phone is the tiny chin located below the display.
It looks like the materials for this smartphone is glass and metal. Both the speakers and a USB Type-C is located on the bottom of the Mi MIX 2, and it seems like the device will lack a headphone jack. The rumor also suggests that the device will come with a 6.6-inch display, while other rumors say it will be a 6.4-inch display like the original Mi MIX had. The upcoming Xiaomi device will feature a Snapdragon 835 chipset if we should trust the rumors. Finally, the rumors claim that the cheapest version of the Mi MIX is going to cost 4,999 Yuan ($749), which is more expensive than we’ve heard before.
This device will likely be a monster in term of performance with either a 6GB or an 8GB RAM version to choose from, and the amount of storage will probably differ between both versions as well. We can almost know for sure that the upcoming handset will come with Android, and presumably with Xiaomi’s custom MIUI 9 OS on top. Remember to take these rumors with a grain of salt, since we can’t be sure about anything until it releases at the end of this year.
