Evan Blass has leaked what appears to be Blackberry’s first-ever water-resistant phone, Motion. The all touchscreen phone is a follow-up to the KeyOne, which is the first phone to be released by TCL under the licensing agreement with BlackBerry. Before the iPhone, the company used to rule the smartphone industry. However, BlackBerry smartphones seems to be making its way back to the consumers hands with the use of Android OS and new designs. While, technically, the BB OS still exists, the company is not releasing any smartphones that are powered with it. With a 26-hour battery life and robust security systems, the Motion’s looks does not follow the bezel-less trend but instead has a BlackBerry logo home button.
The device will a sporting a Snapdragon 625 with 4GB of RAM being powered by a 4000mAh battery. While the leaked image is just a render, it looks official and also Evan Blass has proven to be a reliable source of leaks in the smartphone industry. Not many details about the specs of this smartphone has been made available. Consumers expect the device to launch in certain regions first before being sold internationally.
