OnePlus usually launch an upgraded version of their flagships 6 months after the original release, like the OnePlus 3T. This means that the company is most likely going to launch a OnePlus 5T as the successor of the OnePlus 5. It’s expected to come sometime this fall.

The well-known leaker Evan Blass, aka @evleaks on Twitter, recently posted a leaked image of the upper half of a smartphone, which is the OnePlus 5T according to him. It looks like the upcoming phone will have 2.5D curved glass on the front like the iPhone 8 has. The display almost stretches all the way out to the edges, but there are some tiny bezels. The screen might be an AMOLED made by Samsung because the CEO of OnePlus recently said this in a tweet:
“OLED helps us build thinner devices and better display experiences. Samsung’s display technology is currently the best for Optic AMOLED. ”
According to earlier leaks from GizChina the 6-inch display will have a resolution of 1080×2160. Other leaked specifications include a Snapdragon 835 chipset, 8GB of RAM and an Adreno 540 GPU. A 20MP camera will also be found on both the rear and the front.
The OnePlus 5T will be announced on November 16th, according to another leak from GizChina. Are you considering buying this phone when it comes out? Let us know!
