If you or someone you know bought a Chromebook from either a Black Friday or Cyber Monday deal, there is still more one more markdown that might impress you, alongside add extra productivity to your purchase. According to Chrome Unboxed, Microsoft Office Android apps such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel are now available to be downloaded and used for models that feature Google Play support.

This isn’t the first time that Microsoft Office has been offered on Chromebooks, however. It was previously offered to Chromebook users via Microsoft’s free browser-based version, but that offering had some limitations to it. With the introduction of official Android app support, more features can be implemented and used for better productivity.

It is important to note that neither Microsoft or Google has yet to come out and publicly make the announcement official, but Microsoft has hinted about that they are working on widening support for other devices in the past.
