We’ve seen Apple planning to open doors in new ventures such as the acquiring other businesses such as Shazam and PowerbyProxi, promoting app development in education, as well as looking at entering the automotive industry. Video content is also an area that Apple has been making progress in, and the company has made a big move now.A report from Variety suggests that Apple has freshly employed three Amazon video executives. Tara Sorensen, one of Apple’s new recruits who played a major role in Amazon’s kids programming is expected to focus on Apple’s programming for children.
Carina Walker, international development executive, is the second of the three new hires and Tara Pietri, business affairs chief. Walker is reportedly continuing as the international development executive but now employed by Apple. Pietri is expected to head the legal affairs department at Apple.
Right now it is very difficult to predict what solutions Apple’s new recruits will bring to their business, however, we can understand that Cupertino giant’s intention is to develop their concentration on video content. Has Apple made a smart move by clutching Amazon’s employees? Will Amazon retaliate? Only time will tell – stay tuned to TechDependent.
