When you’re carrying around your laptop, chances are you have to carry the device, a case of some sort and its charger, which can get heavy and complicated pretty fast. Thankfully, Incase recently announced the Connected Power Sleeve, which not only protects the Macbook Pro but doubles as a charger when the battery gets low.

Inside the case is a 14,000mAh battery, alongside a USB-C port which will give the Macbook Pro a complete recharge. There is also a standard USB-A port for other devices that do not use the Type-C standard. There is also a short USB-C cable hidden underneath an access panel, making access to a cable easier. The only downside, the Macbook cannot be charged while it is inside the sleeve, for safety reasons.

The Incase Connected Power Sleeve will launch in two size versions: one for the 13-inch model and another for the 15-inch version. Both, however, will retail for $200 when it goes on sale later this year.

What do you think of the battery-enabled laptop sleeve? Is the price too much to ask for? Let us know in the comments down below, or on any of our social media pages.
