Jabra unveiled three headphones in the new “Elite” family at CES 2018. The trio includes the Elite 45e, the Elite 65t, and the Elite Active 65t. The 45e is a pair of Bluetooth earphones but they aren’t truly wireless, while both 65t models are completely wireless. The Elite Active 65t is optimized for sports, so it can resist water better than the other earphones in the Elite series.

Both the Elite 65t and the Elite Active 65t will last about 5 hours without charging and they can be recharged twice in the charging case that comes with them. Since they don’t have a single cable they’re really lightweight and Jabra claims they also have excellent sound. The sound quality can, obviously, not be compared with the best over-ear headphones but that’s also the case with other wireless earphones in the same price range. Both products feature play/pause controls on the right earbud as well as volume controls on the left. The sportier Elite Active 65t will track your activities in the Jabra app thanks to the built-in accelerometer. It also comes with an IP56 water and dust certification, compared to the normal 65t’s IP55 rating. Jabra also offers a two-year warranty for damages caused by water and dust, so you don’t need to worry about them during your workout or at the beach.

One of the unique things about the Elite 65t and Active 65t is the support of Amazon Alexa. You will be able to ask the usual questions, check the latest news, shop stuff from the internet etc. They should also support Google Assistant and Siri, but we don’t know how the user experience will differ between the three AI helpers.

Jabra didn’t reveal much about the Elite 45e, but they will likely have the same specs as the other earphones in the trio. The main difference is the lack of support for the assistants. The Jabra Elite 65t will become available later this month for $170, while the Active 65t and the Elite 45t will come in early April for $190 respectively $100. All three of them will be sold exclusively through Best Buy.
