The car world found out last month that BMW will be revealing an all-electric iX3 crossover SUV at this year’s Beijing Motor Show, and to embellish that story, the company took to Twitter with a teaser video of its new vehicle.
Chances are that the model displayed at the Beijing Motor Show might just be a concept version, but it will still give us an idea of what BMW’s answer is to Audi’s upcoming E-Tron SUV and Jaguar’s i-Pace. Bear in mind that late 2017, BMW trademarked iX1 all the way to iX9 – which probably indicates that there’s still to come from the Bavarian car giant.
Speaking of the trademarks for upcoming titles, the company intends to roll-out around 25 electric vehicles before 2025, and it is a pretty decent gesture of the range we could be seeing from BMW as we move closer into the next decade. Right now, we can only wait and see what the iX3 has to offer.
An intriguing aspect of the iX3 is the new design of the signature BMW grille design – should the company have changed it or left it as it was?
